What Should I Look for in a Product before Purchasing Its Rights?

Before you purchase resell rights, you need to do some research to find out whether purchasing the resell rights will be profitable for you. Not all resell rights products are worth having.

First, take a look at the product itself. Is it a quality product? Even though your name is not on the product itself, your name will be associated with selling the product, and you don’t want to sell junk. So, make sure that the product does what it promises, and that it is indeed of value.

Next, you need to research the market. Is there a market for the product? An easy way to find out is to do a search in Google using keywords that potential customers would use to search for the product. Look at the sites that are advertising similar products.

The sponsored ads are the ones you are interested in. People and companies do not continually spend money advertising products that are not selling. If money is being spent on advertising, then there is a market for the product. Also look at related magazines to see if money is being spent on advertising.

Read the license agreement before making the purchase. If it is not available to you without purchasing first, walk away. You want to check the license to make sure that you can market the product effectively, using methods that you know work.

You want to know if the sales letter converts, but you also may want to make sure that you are allowed to change the sales letter as you see fit.

Also see if you can find out how many people are currently reselling the product. Is the market flooded? Remember that 90% of the people with resell rights either won’t be reselling the product, or they don’t know how to effectively market the product.

After you’ve looked at all of these issues, and answered all of these questions, you will know whether you should purchase the resell rights product or not. If the product has profit potential, it’s worth buying.

My name is Stephen Coon. I'm the CEO & Founder of Do Education. Right now, I'm taking my business online & growing it through online marketing. This is a term that I never really looked into until about 3 or 4 months ago. I always thought that it wasn't easy to get started, or it was not what I needed for my business. I didn't realize the benefits of using online marketing to promote my business called Do Education.

The purpose of this website is to document & help anyone from my research that I have conducted while I have been setting up my new website. You see, I'm a "Fact Finder" according to Kathy Kolbe of the The Kolbe Test.

My Kolbe Index is 7742 which means, if you read about what the numbers mean, it means that I like to research to find the best product before I go jumping into things. I also like to know more details then some people who are the opposite than me. There is no right or wrong with the Kolbe test, the test is just designed to help you advance in life by allowing you to learn about yourself. You can use this test when you are working with other people to know how to interact with them.

Basically, what I'm saying is that I am creating this website for a number of reasons, and they are as follows:

• I want to document my path of the creation of Do Education, my business.
• I want to have a reference for anyone, including my affiliates, support team members & anyone who wants to understand how online marketing works.
• I want to provide my research & reviews to you, the public so you can benefit from my time invested in finding the best products like e-commerce software, affiliate software, online marketing education.
• I want to give my international ESL students an idea of what online marketing is so that I can use each post down the road as useful topics for them to learn.
• I want to provide a location where everyone can find only great products, software or companies to help them build their own online marketing business.

At this stage I don't acclaim to be any marketing wizard. I am in my education phase with online marketing. I will speak about, promote or write about any product that I have personally purchased, researched or had an experience with to ensure that I can give an accurate review of the products.
